SUMMARY

AEW is seeking a Director of Media and Partnership Sales to drive the growth of our sponsorship business. The role will focus on developing sponsorship sales across AEW’s portfolio of assets.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Develop a pipeline of qualified prospects large enough to meet or exceed financial goals.

  • Leverage knowledge and relationships with brands and sponsorship agencies to develop revenue opportunities.

  • Using an understanding of client marketing needs and AEW capabilities to articulate AEW’s value proposition.

  • Identify client business challenges and translate them into opportunities to sell AEW partnerships & sponsorship solutions.

  • Manage client relationships from initial pitch through transition/onboarding onto long-term engagements of ongoing strategic management and leadership.

  • Creatively explore upsell/leverage opportunities with existing sponsorship and media partners.

  • Build deep, trusted relationships/partnerships with sponsorship decision-makers within brands and their agencies to serve their interactive marketing needs.

  • Accurately forecast revenue and proactively mediate challenges that impede sales growth.

  • Additional responsibilities as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of sponsorship sales experience

  • Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven-figure media deals

  • Strong knowledge of the sponsorship/media landscape, including industry trends, key

  • players, and terminology, with the ability to craft integrated marketing plans and solutions

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentation, and presentations

  • Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to travel as required by partner needs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

​

  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $220,000

  • Competitive health insurance plans (medical, dental, vision, LTD, and life insurance.)

  • Employees are eligible to participate in company 401k after 6 months of employment; Match is 100% for the first 3%, 50% for the next 2%. 

  • 16 weeks of parental leave
