Texas Death Match!
“Hangman” Adam Page vs. “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels!
Page slapped Daniels in the face. CD fired back with forearms. They traded strikes until Page gouged Daniels in the eyes. Page grounded and pounded the Fallen Angel. Page flew over the top rope with a cross body press to Daniels. Page whipped Daniels into the barricade and then rammed Daniels in the head with the butt of a steel chair. Daniels was busted wide open, the blood pouring down into his right eye.
Hangman Page pulled a strand of barbed wire out from beneath the ring. Page whipped Daniels with the barbed wire. Page blasted Daniels with a pump kick. Page wrapped the barbed wire around his right arm and then delivered a lariat to a bloody Daniels.
Daniels clubbed Page with a clothesline, knocking Page into the ring. Page whipped Daniels into a steel chair that was propped between turnbuckles. Page double stomped Daniels through a table that was set up outside the ring!
Page pulled out a table wrapped in barbed wire. Hangman grabbed Daniels, looking for the Dead Eye through the table. Daniels defended with headbutts. Daniels hooked Page and planted him through the table with a uranage! Daniels nailed Page with a German Suplex. Page countered a second uranage with a lariat, knocking Daniels onto the rampway.
Hangman Page wrapped barbed wire around his arm. Page went for the Buckshot Lariat, but Daniels countered with a submission. Page escaped by gouging the barbed wire into Daniels’ head. Daniels blasted Page with the Angels Wings, countering a Dead Eye attempt!
Daniels planted Page with another uranage and then hit the Best Moonsault Ever! Daniels put a piece of the barbed wire table on top of Page and connected with another Best Moonsault Ever! Page got to his feet before the 10-count. Page spiked CD with a tombstone on a steel chair. Page cracked CD with a Dead Eye on the steel chair! Page smashed Daniels with a Buckshot Lariat in the back of the neck! Daniels was unable to answer the 10-count and Page was declared the victor!
“Not for the faint of heart but we knew that going in,” said Nigel.
“I knew this was going to be a war,” added Daddy Magic.
After the match, Page put Daniels in the Angels Wings and then stormed off!
“Adam Page is the angel of death!” said Nigel.
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview Toni Storm!
Toni Storm: “Honestly, I don’t know what my life is right now. This is so surreal, and my dreams are finally coming true. Because I’m going to Australia and I’m going to the building where I saw my first wrestling show. I can call my mom and tell her to get ready because I’m coming home!
“Mariah May is the best in the business today. She’s killing it! But I haven’t had a chance to introduce myself to her yet, so I was thinking next week in Jacksonville, I think it’s time that she and I finally meet face to face.”
The Hurt Syndicate—MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley—had comments after their victory on Dynamite!
MVP: “Tonight a definitive statement was made. I promised you when we came here to AEW that championship gold would be ours for the taking. With the defeat that we just put on Private Party, that makes us the number one contenders. Next week, Private Party, put up the tag championships against Shelton and Bobby. But remember, we hurt people.”
Undisputed Kingdom—Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, & Roderick Strong
vs.
Shane Taylor Promotions—The Infantry—Carlie Bravo, Shawn Dean, & ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty (with Shane Taylor)!
Strong got pushed into the corner by Lee. Dean tagged in but ate a dropkick from Roddy. Kyle grabbed a tag and Kyle and Roddy hit tandem offense on Dean. Dean retaliated with a jawbreaker and then tagged out to Bravo.
Dean tripped Kyle and then Bravo blasted Kyle. Taylor decked Kyle, knocking Kyle down to the arena floor. Cole came in and cleaned house, running down Dean with back elbows and a pump kick. Cole cracked Dean with a neck breaker for a near fall.
Dean dodged a Panama Sunrise but got caught with a thrust kick from Cole. Strong smashed Dean with a running knee lift. Cole planted Lee with a Panama Sunrise. Roddy and Kyle swept the leg of Dean and pinned him!
Shane Taylor jumped in the ring after the match and wiped out the Undisputed Kingdom!
“Shane Taylor just knocked out three men,” said Nigel.
Taylor taunted Daddy Magic. TNT Champion Danny Garcia ran out and went right after Taylor. The Undisputed Kingdom seized the moment to dish out some punishment to Taylor. Danny walloped Taylor with a suplex, getting the big man off his feet!
The Undisputed Kingdom had a face off with Danny Garcia as Garcia held his TNT Championship above his head.
Will Ospreay was interviewed after Dynamite!
Ospreay: “Myself and Kenny have had our differences, but we both know each other from Don Callis. That’s our link. I think this is bigger than both our egos and next week on Dynamite, I think Kenny Omega and I have a chat once and for all.”
The MurderMachines—Lance Archer & Brian Cage
vs.
Top Flight—Dante & Darius Martin (with Leila Grey)!
The MurderMachines battered Top Flight and grounded them at the start of the match. Darius was double teamed in the corner. Archer blasted Darius with a back breaker and then Cage charged at Darius with a running kick to the head.
Darius dodged a running elbow from Archer. Darius connected with a pele kick to Cage. Dante and Archer tagged in for their respective teams. Dante drilled Archer with repeated forearms. Cage and Archer double teamed Dante with the choke slam lariat combo and pinned Dante!
“Top Flight are one of the best, young tag teams in pro wrestling today, but that win by the MurderMachines made them look almost like rookies,” said Nigel.
After the match, Action Andretti walked onto the ramp. He distracted Top Flight while Lio Rush ambushed Top Flight! Lio frog splashed Darius while Leila was forced to watch.
Lexi Nair interviewed The Learning Tree backstage!
Jericho: “Jon Moxley isn’t the type of guy to show up and do interviews. I’m not going to let you stir the pot, Lexi. Moxley, let me address you face to face. We’ve known each other a long time. We have beaten the hell out of each other around the entire world. Tonight, we’ve got some common enemies, and you know there is no one in this company as smart and driven as you than me. If there’s any doubt in your mind, maybe we’ll prove it before the match.”
The Acclaimed’s Max Caster came to the ring by himself!
Caster carried a duffel bag out with him.
Caster: “Thank you everybody. Thank you for your concern. There’s been a lot of issues going on with the Acclaimed. There’s a lot of rumors online. A lot of people are talking. But I just want to clear the air right now with my teammate Anthony Bowens. Please come to the ring, Anthony.”
Anthony Bowens came down to the ring.
Caster: “There’s been a huge misunderstanding between you and me, and we just need to see eye to eye and get on the same page. The biggest issue between us is you just won’t admit that I’m the best wrestler alive.”
Bowens: “You know what, Max? I think it’s finally time for you to listen, pal. For the last five years I have tried with every fiber of my being to protect you in the ring, in the locker room, in the media, because we were tag team partners. But now I have to live with the uncomfortable truth that you have made me a liar. Because I have had to lie to everyone about you as a person. You’re an arrogant piece of crap!
“You want all these people to believe that you’re the best wrestler alive. But they think you suck. This is exactly what I mean. You have lost the team spirit. I have no idea why you look down upon me. I possess every tool necessary to be a world champion. I have proudly represented AEW since I have put pen to paper. I am the pride of AEW. I am wrestling’s five tool player! I don’t need a piece of paper from the government to prove it.”
Daddy Ass walked out in disbelief!
Daddy Ass: “What is wrong with you two? Have you lost your minds? Do I need to remind you two of who you two were? You are the Acclaimed. We got everyone to scissor just because it was cool.”
Caster: “Billy this is your fault. You don’t care about us. You attached yourself to a couple of young wrestlers just so you could hear these people chant your name over and over again. But this ain’t the 90s anymore. They don’t want to see you. They want to see the best wrestler alive. And honestly, I never liked the Daddy Ass thing, and you are not my dad. And you bring up the Trios titles. You rode our coattails. You made it about you when it should be about me, the best wrestler alive.
“And Anthony, you’re my best friend. We have been through it all. I won’t let this go wrong because of Billy Gunn. Every team he’s been a part of has broken up and there’s a reason for that. Even your own two sons don’t want anything to do with you. Anthony, you have to choose, it’s either me or Billy, if you want the Acclaimed to keep going.”
Bowens flipped off Caster!
Caster: “Oh, that’s how it is. You can’t walk away from me. I’m walking away from you because I said so. I’m the leader of the team and it’s everybody’s fault in here. Without me, you suck. I’m going to prove I’m the best wrestler alive.”
Bowens: “I didn’t need you then, Max, and I don’t need you now. Billy, one last time, throw those scissors up in the air!”
AEW Continental Championship Match!
“The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (c.)
vs.
“The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii!
Ishii chopped at Okada. Okada retreated from the ring, but Ishii followed him and bulldozed Okada with a shoulder block. Ishii superplexed Okada back into the ring for a near fall!
Okada staggered Ishii with a neck breaker. Okada scoop slammed Ishii and then dropped an elbow from the top rope. Ishii drilled Okada with a lariat. Okada fired back with a giant dropkick. Ishii headbutted Okada. Ishii absorbed a lariat and then nailed Okada with a running lariat.
Okada rocked Ishii with a shotgun dropkick. Ishii retaliated with a lariat. Okada dropkicked Ishii from behind, knocking Ishii out of the ring. Okada grabbed the ring bell. The ref pulled it away. As the ref was distracted, Okada kicked Ishii with a low blow and then finished off Okada with the Rainmaker lariat for the pin!
ROH World Tag Team Champion “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes
vs. Adam Priest!
Dustin took down Priest with an arm drag. Dustin powerslammed Priest. Rhodes went to shatter Priest’s dreams with a kick, but Priest escaped the turnbuckles. Dustin drilled Priest with the Cross Rhodes and then pinned him after a spinning suplex.
Julia Hart vs. Harley Cameron!
Harley unleashed her wrath and grounded and pounded Julia. Harley connected with a kick to the back of Julia’s head. Julia dug her fingers into the eyes of Cameron, as Cameron was tied up in the ropes. Julia rag dolled Harley, bashing her head against the mat.
Harley raked Julia’s eyes across the top rope. Harley hit a pump handle pickup for a near fall on Julia. Julia applied the Iron Octopus in the center of the ring. Harley escaped and cradled Julia for a near fall.
Julia spiked Harley with a DDT, but Harley kicked out at the two-count. Julia used a leg trip and tried for the Hartless, but Harley got to the ropes. Julia connected with a lariat from behind. Julia locked on the Hartless and Harley was forced to tap out!
It was announced that this Wednesday on Dynamite it’ll be Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne!
Backstage, The Learning Tree ganged up on Hobbs and attacked Hobbs’ knee!

“The Rated R Superstar” Cope, FTR—Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler, The Outrunners—Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd, & Powerhouse Hobbs
vs.
The Death Riders—AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, AEW World Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta, & The Learning Tree—ROH World Champion Chris Jericho, Big Bill, & Bryan Keith!
“Bill Bil has Hobbs’ knee brace and he’s showing it to Moxley. Hobbs is backstage getting medical attention we understand,” said Tony Schiavone.
Jericho and Dax exchanged slaps and chops in the center of the ring. Jericho blasted Dax with a shotgun dropkick. Bryan Keith tagged in, but Dax hit a leg drop. Cash grabbed a tag and FTR used tandem offense on Keith.
Cash backdropped Wheeler Yuta. Truth entered the fray, but Wheeler yanked him to the mat by the bleached hair. Turbo came in and the Outrunners double teamed Yuta. Turbo smashed Wheeler with a brain buster for a near fall.
Big Bill tagged in and chopped down Dax. Marina grabbed Dax’s ankle, distracting him. Big Bill power bombed Dax. Jericho took a few shots at Dax and then extended his hand to Moxley. Moxley slowly accepted the tag. Mox spiked Dax with a piledriver. Wheeler dropped a knee on Dax.
Wheeler snap suplexed Dax for a near fall. Wheeler sent Dax into the ring post. Dax dodged the charging knee attempt from Wheeler. Dax made the tag to Cope! Cope cleaned house on the opposition! Cope went for the spear, but Jericho countered with the Code Breaker! Turbo came in and body slammed Jericho. Turbo then body slammed Bryan Keith onto Jericho. The Outrunners dropped the double biceps elbow on Jericho and Keith!
Moxley caught Dax with a cutter out of nowhere. Cope clotheslined Mox out of the ring but Big Bill booted Cope in the head! FTR nailed Big Bill with the Shatter Machine! Cope blasted Mox with the Impaler on the ramp. Pac interjected himself and booted Cope in the head, preventing Cope from getting back toward Mox. The Death Riders ganged up on Cope. Cash jumped off the ramp to make the save! Both teams brawled through the crowd!
Jericho rolled up Turbo, but Turbo kicked out in the nick of time. Powerhouse Hobbs’ music hit, and Hobbs hobbled out on one leg, his knee taped up. Hobbs tagged in and laid out Keith and Jericho!
Hobbs and Big Bill had a face off! They slugged it out, back and forth! Big Bill charged at Hobbs, but Hobbs threw him out of the ring. Jericho blindsided Hobbs with a double ax handle. The Outrunners rocked Jericho with the Total Recall. Keith tried to smash Hobbs with the ROH World title, but Hobbs blocked it. Hobbs planted Keith with a spinebuster and pinned Keith to win the match!
