It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! Saturday night’s alright for fighting!
AEW World Champion MJF came to the ring to kick off the show, making his Collision in-ring debut!
MJF vs. Kip Morst!
MJF charged at Kip as Morst was being introduced to the hometown crowd.
“MJF wasting no time bulldozing Hamilton’s own,” said Kevin Kelly.
MJF spiked Kip with the heat seeker. MJF covered his opponent but then stood up. MJF applied the LeBell Lock and Morst tapped out.
“Here’s the thing. You get a Collision match with MJF, but he has final say. He didn’t pick anyone tough,” said Kevin Kelly.
MJF: “Cut my music! Now I know you stupid crooked Canadians are very unintelligent. But when the World champ is holding the microphone, you keep your mouth shut! You think I want to be here? I was supposed to have a day off today but instead I had to come to crappy Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
“I’m so positive that I will beat anyone who walks through that curtain who is from Hamilton, I’m even willing to put my World title on the line.”
“All Ego” Ethan Page took exception to MJF’s comments and stormed down to the ring!
MJF: “This is cute and all but you and I both know you’re not on my level.”
Ethan Page slapped the microphone out of MJF’s hands!
Ethan Page: “Yeah, we’re not doing this crap. You were just about to tell me that I am not on your level. Really? Why don’t I remind you and everyone in the back what I’m made of! Max, I’m not on your level because I’m not you! I’m not a bare minimum bitch!
“Listen up Max. You can walk around with that championship all you want, but you are not my World champion. Because when this company needs something, they don’t call you. You know who they call? Ethan Page! Because I’m always here for the fans, for this company, and for those three letters! A-E-W! You might be the AEW World champion, but Ethan Page actually champions AEW! So how about this. You actually be a man for once and do something for this company. I say you put the title on the line right here, right now, with me!”
MJF handed the belt to the referee!

Jay White: “Tony, I don’t like the energy in this place. Bullet Club Gold, we have a couple of new Gold members. That’s right, the bang bang gang is at full force. Tony this is the golden era of Bullet Club, and it continues tonight when my friend Juice Robinson wipes the floor with Ricky Starks!”
Austin Gunn: “The real question is why did we join Jay and Juice?”
Colten Gunn: “I mean Jay and Juice have traveled the world, have won multiple championships.”
Austin: “And the juice is loose, Tony!”
Colten: “And the other question is why would they want the Gunns? We had our first match 16 months ago. You know what we did in that time? We won the AEW Tag Team World championships.”
Austin: “And we beat all of your favorites! The Gunns are the future.”
Colten: “No, we are the present. We are the best tag team in the world. Guns up!”
Tony Schiavone: “Members of the Bullet Club are barred from ringside during the Starks’ match.”
Jay White: “No more talking for you, Tony, but I’ve got something to say for CM Punk. When you returned, you returned with a little bag of goodies. Maybe there was just one goodie in that bag. And when you wave gold in front of my face it can be mighty tantalizing. So, if that goodie in your bag is made of gold, and if it’s your AEW World Heavyweight championship, well then, I suggest you leave it in the bag.
“But FTR, you have my attention. You have Bullet Club Gold’s attention. Boys, FTR, Bullet Club Gold already beat you. So, if you’re not too afraid, how about you put your AEW World Tag Team championships against myself and Juice Robinson? And we’ll beat you again. And it really will be top guys out, guns up.”
Lexy Nair was backstage with AEW World Tag champs FTR, “Absolute” Ricky Starks, and CM Punk!
CM Punk: “Jay White, you beat us last week. Congratulations. You want to know what’s in the bag so bad? You can do what Max did and go to ShopAEW.com and buy yourself a replica title, parade yourself around here and call yourself champ. I see you hiding behind Juice. And now you’re hiding behind the Gunns? I don’t need bodyguards. I’ve got friends.”
Cash Wheeler: “Collision is where the big boys play. And Jay and Juice, you’re now intermingled with the biggest, baddest on the school yard. Saturday Night’s alright for fightin.’”

Christian Cage: “When everybody saw Christian Cage and my right hand of destruction, Luchasaurus, walk away as the new TNT Champion on the debut of Collision, and since it is Canada Day today and I’m feeling generous—”
Shawn Spears interrupted the interview.
Spears: “I’m looking at that championship. It seems to be a little out of place.”
Christian Cage: “I said no more open challenges.”
Spears: “You did, that’s why I was off to the side shooting my shot. That’s why I want to talk to the champ.”
Christian Cage: “Then talk to the champ. I’m going to tell you something that’s always bothered me, Spears. You don’t seize your opportunities. You’re not dangerous. You’re never going to be dangerous. Walk away.”
Spears: “Christian, the funny thing is everyone is capable of being dangerous. They just need to meet the right person. I’ll see you soon champ.”

“Roderick Strong never tapped out. The referee stopped it,” said Kevin Kelly.
Samoa Joe grabbed a steel chair.
“Is he coming this way?” asked Punk.
CM Punk picked up a steel chair. Security ran down to separate them. Samoa Joe went back into the ring and planted Roderick Strong on the steel chair!
“What’s it going to be like next Saturday at Collision when it’s CM Punk versus Samoa Joe?” wondered Kevin Kelly.
Adam Cole sprinted down to the ring to check on his friend Roderick Strong.
