CHAOS WITH CHAOS...

CHAOS (Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, & Trent) vs. Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, & Kyle O'Reilly

It would be a lie to say fans were not hopeful “The Violent Artist” Kyle O'Reilly would at some point make his way to All Elite Wrestling. His skills have been increasingly appreciated over the last fifteen years as his name grew throughout the wrestling world while he branched out from the independent scenes of British Columbia, Canada into the United States and eventually onto the world stage. From the squared circle of ROH to the rings of NJPW, and every where in-between, there have been several constants in every aspect of Kyle's career, and two of those have been Adam Cole and Bobby Fish. They have been allies and they have been partners, they have been opponents and they have been enemies; whatever bent their relationships took, for over ten years, those three men have been bonded.

Given the depth of that bond, it should come as little surprise that when Kyle did finally arrive on the AEW scene, he did so last week in support of Adam Cole for the purpose of helping him overcome Orange Cassidy. After all, a week prior to that, Cole did promise a holiday surprise to The Young Bucks, his SuperKliq brethren, and Kyle's presence delivered on that in spades. While it seemed a marriage of two different worlds that Cole has resided in over the years, based on the looks across the face of the brothers Jackson, it did not seem quite as happy a union as one might have anticipated. Point of fact, The Young Bucks and the reDRagon pairing of Fish and O'Reilly have been in numerous wars against each other over the years, with championships frequently at stake.

Nevertheless this renewed dynamic of Adam, Bobby, and Kyle will go into battle together for the first time in over a year against a CHAOS trio is also freshly back on the scene as a unit! The December 17th RAMPAGE marked the first time Orange, Chuck, and Trent had been in a ring together since April 2021, but they did so in victorious fashion over Bobby Fish and The SuperKliq.

The question now is which of these trios will emerge as the superior unit heading into the new year? Will it be the reunified Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly who go out of 2021 on a high note? Or will it be CHAOS who celebrate the end of this chaotic year with a victory in their record books? And just what do The Young Bucks think about all that has occurred within their unit since Kenny Omega left on sabbatical to heal his numerous wounds?

SIX MAN MAYHEM...

2point0 (Jeff Parker & Matt Lee) & Daniel Garcia vs. Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, & Santana

2point0 and Daniel Garcia have been thorns in the side of Eddie Kingston since the moment they arrived in All Elite Wrestling. Garcia, Jeff Parker, and Matt Lee started their sojourn into AEW by calling out Kingston, Darby Allin, and Jon Moxley back at DYNAMITE: HOMECOMING 2021 in Jacksonville, unsuccessfully mind you, and have continued to find ways to insert themselves into The Mad King's life.

Whether it was by jumping Kingston and Mox in the crowd, taunting him backstage, or trying to assault him in catering, the 2pointTrio have made life quite hellish for Eddie. It didn't matter that Eddie and Mox beat Jeff and Matt in a tag match or that Kingston topped “Red Death” in a one-on-one bout, they have persisted, and even took out Chris Jericho in the process after he stepped into the even the odds while Kingston was being assaulted by the 2pointTrio.

The fact that Garcia pulled out a victory directly over Kingston during the 10 Man Tag on the December 17th RAMPAGE just gave that trio even more fuel to trash talk, yet what Parker, Lee, and Garcia inadvertently did over the course of these last several weeks was bring together some old friends who may just prove more than they can handle. See by assaulting Chris Jericho, 2point0 and “Red Death” got the attention of The Inner Circle, specifically that of Santana and Ortiz, and in turn brought them back together with Eddie Kingston. That relationship dates back years before AEW's inception, strengthened through their NYC bond and the mentors they've shared, and their unification should make everyone in All Elite Wrestling scared, but especially Jeff Parker, Matt Lee, and Daniel Garcia.

Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz aim to celebrate the close of 2021 with a bashing of skulls on this Wednesday's edition of DYNAMITE!

TBS WOMEN'S TITLE TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL...

Jade Cargill (w/ Mark Sterling) vs. Thunder Rosa

***WINNER FACES RUBY SOHO IN THE FINALS***

Jade Cargill is undefeated in All Elite Wrestling since her debut in March, twenty straight wins as a singles competitor and one tag team victory, with one of those singles victories over Thunder Rosa. Now that win came out of a Three Way match that also included Nyla Rose, but it was a victory over Rosa nonetheless.

As for Thunder Rosa, well she is coming into this fight with thirty straight victories in one-on-one matches dating back to the March 6th edition of AEW DARK! In fact, she is officially 34-3 as a singles competitor in 2021, and that's not including the amazing, albeit unofficial, Lights Out victory over current AEW Women's World Champion Dr. Britt Baker. Suffice to say, both of these women have had an amazing year and are looking to cap it off by advancing to the TBS Women's Championship Tournament Finals!

Rosa bested Jamie Hayter in a tremendous fight on 11/24 DYNAMITE to get to this point while Jade topped Red Velvet on the 11/19 RAMPAGE to advance. Now each woman needs to take one last step in order to get in the title fight finals against Ruby Soho, and it's going to be a tremendous test for each. In Thunder Rosa, Jade is facing the most seasoned competitor she has met thus far over the course of her rookie year. Rosa is a pitbull who never relents on her attack, a woman who is going to take the fight to every opponent she faces regardless of size, strength, or experience. Whether her foe is a veteran of the ring wars or a rookie like Jade, Thunder treats them all the same and pushes them to step up their game to compete.

Now Jade fits the bill as a rookie in terms of her experiences inside the squared circle, but she carries herself with more poise than many veterans of the craft. Cargill may be new to the game, but just watch her and you do not see nerves, you do not see a lack of confidence, in fact it is the exact opposite. She presents like a woman who has been competing long-term, and once that bell rings, Jade fights well beyond her one year of experience. She has speed, she has power unlike any other woman in the division, and the presence of “Smart” Mark Sterling at ringside doesn't hurt either.

It's going to be a tremendous battle between Thunder Rosa and Jade Cargill to shape the final stage of TBS Women's Title Tournament! Which woman will continue their dominant streak on the final DYNAMITE of 2021 and head on to meet “The Runaway” Ruby Soho in the tournament finals?

JUST ADDED...

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers, Christian Cage, & Jurassic Express

vs.

FTR, Matt Hardy, & Private Party

As announced by AEW GM Tony Khan earlier today, there will be a huge ten man tag going down on DYNAMITE: NEW YEAR'S SMASH! Given the ten men involved there are a whole mess of rivalries, both old and new, wrapped up in this bout and a plenty of men jockeying for the number one position in the tag team ranks currently held by Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus. On RAMPAGE: HOLIDAY BASH, Matt Hardy thought he could have Isiah Kassidy injure JB to open up the spot, but that plan did not come to fruition and the JurEx/Cage trio were still standing tall on Christmas night.

Now add in the on-going rivalry between FTR and The Lucha Brothers, both over the AEW World Tag Team Titles as well as the AAA Tag Titles, and this bout gets even more chaotic before the bell has even rung! Plus, there is plenty of history between Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler from earlier in 2021 to fuel this fire, including a classic match that saw Tully Blanchard lace up his boots for the first time in years.

It's one heck of a way to close out 2021 for these ten competitors, and one tremendous treat for both the fans at Daily's Place, as well as those watching our final TNT-based edition of DYNAMITE!

The final DYNAMITE of 2021 comes your way at 8pm EST/7pm CST on TNT, as well as on AEWPlus.com (https://www.fite.tv/join/aew-plus/) for our international audience, and it features Cargill versus Rosa in the final TBS Women's Title Tournament semi-final round, Kyle O'Reilly in his first AEW bout alongside his two old pals, and Eddie Kingston uniting with his old friends in a trios match of their own! Get ready for everything DYNAMITE: NEW YEAR'S SMASH (Buy Tickets) has on tap by heading to official AEW YouTube channel for last week's DYNAMITE/RAMPAGE highlights, as well as the most recent episodes of DARK: ELEVATION, AEW DARK, and ROAD TO!
