AEW DYNAMITE was broadcast on TBS and streamed on MAX live from Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, CA!

Excalibur, “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz, and Tony Schiavone were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Cope arrived in the back of an ambulance!

Cope: “Death Riders, I just want to show you your ride tonight.”

Footage played from earlier in the day of MJF getting his tattoo removed!

MJF: “I’ve watched on as hypocrites have cheered for Adam Page when I’m right here. Now I’m truly going to bet on myself. You people chose him? I used to believe in three letters. I used to believe in A-E-W. Now I only believe in M-J-F.”

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Aaron Solo!

Page booted Solo in the head! Page clobbered Solo in the corner in a fit of rage. Solo connected with a corkscrew kick. Page retaliated with a clothesline. Page followed up with the Buckshot Lariat and pinned Aaron Solo!

Page: “There are three things that I hate in this world and one of them is when MJF spits in my face. So I am going to sit right here until someone finds me MJF, and they drag him into this ring so I can give him the beating of a lifetime!”

MJF walked onto the ramp with a bloody towel.

MJF: “Hangman you want to fight me right now in front of all these people? Dude, are you nuts? Look at you. You’re heartless, dude. I’m not fighting you right now. I don’t even know if I have a prayer on March 9th at Revolution on pay-per-view. I’m going to leave and go get ready for this match.

“Silly me. I totally forgot why I came out here. I’m awfully worried about your friend. You should probably check on him. I guess now is the time we find out who is actually real!”

Christopher Daniels was shown backstage, battered and bloodied!

Hangman went to the back with a steel chair! “Where did he go!? yelled Page.

The Don Callis Family were shown sitting in a skybox.

Renee Paquette was backstage trying to get a word with ROH World Champion Chris Jericho!

Jericho: “I know what you’re doing here. I think you want to apologize to me for the way you treated me last week, right?”

Renee wanted to know how the match came together between Will Ospreay and Bryan Keith.

Don Callis was in Jericho’s locker room with Mark Davis.

Jericho: “I chose to help Bryan Keith. He has what it takes to be a champion in AEW and to beat Will Ospreay tonight.”

Callis: “That’s all I need to hear!”

Bounty Match!

“Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith vs. “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay!

Keith clubbed Will with forearms. Will took down Keith with a hurracanrana. Keith chopped Will in the windpipe. Will used an arm drag on Bryan Keith. Will scoop slammed Keith and followed up with a standing sky twister press.

“Ospreay makes these things look easy,” said Taz.

Keith rolled out of the ring, but Ospreay, undaunted, threw his body over the top rope and connected with a cross body press. Bryan Keith charged at Will and pump kicked Will in the head.

Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher were watching from the skybox.

Ospreay charged up to the sky box, but Fletcher charged down. Both men began to brawl until security separated them!

TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Mone was backstage with words for Momo!

Billie Starkz walked by and Mercedes knocked Billie’s cup of water into Billie’s face!

Billie: “If I were you, I’d watch your back!”

Momo was behind Mercedes and swung at her with a baseball bat! Mercedes ran away and Momo said she was coming for Mercedes’ belt at Revolution!

The Murder Machines—Lance Archer & Brian Cage

vs. The Outrunners—Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd!

The Murder Machines double teamed Truth. The Outrunners fired back with double dropkicks. Cage and Archer brought the Outrunners outside the ring and hammered them with lariats.

Truth crushed Cage with a jawbreaker. Turbo tagged in and dished out punishment to Cage and Archer. Cage drilled Truth with a Death Valley Driver. Turbo got ping ponged back and forth by the Murder Machines.

Archer taunted Turbo. Archer spiked Turbo with a chokeslam for a near fall! Archer went for the Black Out, but The Hurt Syndicate’s music began to play, and they walked onto the ramp. The momentary distraction allowed Turbo to roll up Archer and pick up the pinfall!

“The Outrunners with the upset victory here tonight!” said Excalibur.

Up next: Swerve Strickland with Prince Nana!

Swerve: “I made this place my house the second I stepped through these doors three years ago at Revolution. It’s fitting that we are wrapping up Black History Month because I made Black history when I became AEW World Champion. Night in, night out, I showcased it to the world all the way up to AEW All In.

“I’m no one-hit wonder but Nana was right when he said the championship hasn’t been my focus. Make no mistake. I am still the man around here. In order to prove that I need gold around my waist. But in order to do that I need to right some wrongs. Ricochet is walking around with something that doesn’t belong to him.

“Ricochet you say that you and I are done, and you are moving on to bigger and better things. No, no, we are done when I say we’re done.”

Ricochet walked out wearing the robe that belongs to the Embassy.

Ricochet: “Are you stupid or are you dumb? I am done with you. You had your chance. I won, you feel me. Winners don’t chase losers. What I’m chasing is gold, something you will never be again here in AEW, a champion. So no Swerve, I will not be facing you again. The next time you see me I will have gold around my waist.”

Prince Nana: “Listen, I have an offer for you that you might want to consider. I had a talk with Tony Khan in the back earlier today and he agrees with you and I, Swerve. These fans deserve a rematch. All you have to do is accept it. You know what? He also said whoever wins that match will then be the number one contender for the AEW World title. What do you say, Ricochet?”

Ricochet: “You know what? I give you credit where credit is due, Nana. That’s really good. So all I gotta do is whoop Swerve’s ass one more time and then my ticket is basically punched to be the AEW World champion. I accept. But we’re going to do it at Revolution. Ricochet and Swerve one more time, baby!”

Prince Nana: “Swerve, I’ve got to talk to you, boss. You know what, I’m proud of you. You’ve taken the steps to make the championship the number one priority to you. I want you to go back to being who these fans say you are, and who you say you are. I want you to go back to being the most dangerous man in AEW! But Swerve, I took a lot of bullets for you. Hangman Page, Sting, the Hurt Syndicate, Ricochet. To see him walking around with my robe, Swerve, I need you to fix my legacy and get my robe back. Or I don’t know if I can do this anymore.”

Prince Nana left the ring.

Renee Paquette got some words with Hangman Adam Page backstage!

Page: “Max, when I find you, and I will, if I do not run you over, you will wish that I had.”

Cope found Claudio first and they began to brawl! Wheeler Yuta grabbed Cope out of nowhere. Claudio and Wheeler began to double team Cope as Marina Shafir looked on.

Cope got to his feet and speared Claudio! Marina applied a rear naked choke on Cope. Cope broke the grip and Wheeler inadvertently smashed Marina with a knee strike. Don Callis joined the broadcast team for this match, accompanied by a reluctant Mark Davis.

Takeshita grabbed Orange’s sunglasses and broke them in half. Cassidy pulled a second pair out of his pocket, but Takeshita grabbed those after a shoulder tackle and handed them to Don Callis to wear.

Cassidy took a seat on the announcers’ desk and invited Takeshita up there. Takeshita obliged. Orange blasted Takeshita with the Beach Break on the announce desk! Back in the ring, Orange connected with the Orange Punch! Orange followed up with a DDT on the floor!

Orange climbed to the top rope and jumped but Takeshita countered with an elbow strike. Orange rallied back with a stundog! Takeshita blocked the Orange Punch and planted Orange with the Raging Fire, retaining the championship via pin fall!

“It’s official for Revolution. It’ll be Takeshita against Kenny Omega, one on one in Los Angeles,” said Excalibur.
