AEW DYNAMITE was broadcast live on TBS from the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT!
Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness, and Tony Schiavone were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

Bang Bang Gang’s “Switchblade” Jay White & Juice Robinson
vs.
“The Patriarch” Christian Cage (with The Patriarchy) & “Hangman” Adam Page!
Jay White and Hangman Page locked up to start the match. Switchblade grabbed a side headlock takeover. Hangman fired back with a big elbow strike and Jay White went down in a heap. Christian Cage tagged himself in and chopped Jay White.
Juice Robinson jabbed at Christian, but Christian retaliated with a neck breaker. Nick Wayne kicked Juice in the ribs on the arena floor as Christian distracted the referee. Hangman tagged back in and hit a belly to belly suplex on Juice Robinson.
Nick Wayne was sizing up Juice Robinson when HOOK snuck up on Wayne and brawled with him to the back! Juice planted Christian Cage on the arena floor as Christian was shocked by what he saw with Nick Wayne and HOOK!
Jay White and Adam Page slugged it out, a sneak peak of what we’ll see in 10 days at Full Gear. “Switchblade” Jay White drilled Page with a DDT and then spiked Christian Cage with a DDT. Juice hit Page with a running cannonball while Jay White followed up with a brain buster on Page!
Christian Cage pulled Juice out of the ring by the ankle. Juice decked Christian Cage. Juice climbed the turnbuckles, but Page yanked him down. Hangman gouged Jay White’s eyes and then clobbered him with a lariat. Page planted Juice with a fallaway slam from the turnbuckles. Page nailed Juice with a power bomb for a near fall.
Jay White ducked a buckshot lariat from Page. Christian grabbed Jay from behind looking for the kill switch, but Juice was there to make the save. Jay rocked Christian with a Blade Runner into the barricade. Mother Wayne distracted the referee while Kip Sabian smacked Juice with the contract case. Page jammed Juice with the Dead Eye in the center of the ring to steal the victory.
Renee Paquette was backstage to interview TBS Champion “The C.E.O.” Mercedes Moné!
Mercedes denied that Kamille tried to runover Kamille last week and told Kamille to go put her expensive designer jacket away. Kris Statlander snuck up and shoved Kamille into the wall. Statlander speared Mercedes and Kamille through a wall!
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay for the first time since Will’s return!
Ospreay: “There’s a lot of questions I need answers for. And Takeshita is walking around with the International title. But I’m going to call out Kyle Fletcher so he and I can have a little discussion right now.”
Kyle Fletcher walked out!
Fletcher: “Don and the Family begged me not to come out here by myself, but I have to prove I’m not a coward, unlike you. You’d rather sit at home and lick your wounds than show up for these people. I’m here to see you man to man but just know the Family is never far behind. What would like you talk about, Will, huh?”
Ospreay: “I’ve been in those Don Callis Family meetings and you’re not coming alone. You probably have something in your back pocket so get it out. I’m not going to touch you.”
Kyle pulled out a screwdriver and tossed it to Will.
Kyle: “Happy?”
Will: “Not really. During the pandemic you lived in my house. Hell, I opened the door for you here. You know everything about me such as where I live and where my son goes to school.”
Kyle: “Don didn’t do anything but open my eyes to the truth. Yes, you did all that for me. Yes, you gave me a place to sleep when I needed it. But who were you really doing it for? I think you were doing it for yourself. Everything you do is about Will Ospreay. You wanted to turn me into your clone, so I never succeeded as much as you did, keeping me locked under your wing. Look at what you did to Okada and Omega. In my position you would have done the exact same thing!”
Will: “Pick a lane. Are you nothing like me or are you just an Ospreay clone? I’ll own it. I stabbed Omega and Okada in the back, but before that, I held gold and had accomplishments. What have you done? Not you and Mark Davis. What have you done?”
Kyle: “How about what I am going to do. I am going to surpass you and every single accomplishment you’ve had, and I want to prove it at Full Gear, November 23 live on pay-per-view, I want Kyle Fletcher against Will Ospreay!”
Will: “You want your five minutes of fame! There it is! Around these parts I’m called Mr. Pay-Per-View. You want the match, Kyle, challenge accepted lad! And let me tell you why this is going to be so sweet. When I watched you shave your head, I looked down at my hand and my little boy was holding my hand and I didn’t feel it because of the Tiger Driver you gave me. At Full Gear, I’m going to take everything away from you!”
Kyle: “At Full Gear I’m not just coming for a piece Will, I’m coming for everything!”
“The Machine” Brian Cage and “The MurderHawk Monster” Lance Archer jumped into the ring!
Will: “Don’t worry I’ve got my own friends too!”
Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs got into the ring and the two sides began to brawl to the back!
Falls Count Anywhere Match!
The Don Callis Family’s “MurderHawk Monster” Lance Archer
vs.
Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong!
Roderick swung a kendo stick at Archer as Archer was brawling with the other teams! Cage clubbed Strong with a forearm. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett ran out to even up the odds for Roddy!
Archer rocked Taven with a boot to the head! Archer choke slammed Taven off the barricade down onto security guards. Roddy swept out Archer’s legs and then cracked Archer with a steel chair. Roddy jumped over the barricade and stunned Archer with a knee strike, scoring the pinfall victory!
MJF was watching from an undisclosed location.
Roddy: “Max! At Full Gear, this all ends and I’m going to finish your ass!”
Takeshita blindsided Roderick Strong and grounded and pounded Roddy! Adam Cole’s music began to play, and this brought us right into…
The Don Callis Family’s AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita
vs.
Undisputed Kingdom’s Adam Cole!
Cole was looking for the Panama Sunrise, but Takeshita countered with a nasty forearm strike! Adam Cole nailed Takeshita with a neck breaker for a near fall. Takeshita blasted Cole with a blue thunder bomb. Cole cracked Takeshita with a pump kick. Takeshita fired back with a rolling elbow strike. Cole retaliated with a back breaker onto his knee.
Takeshita blocked a Panama Sunrise and countered with a piledriver into a suplex. Takeshita knocked off Cole’s block with a lariat, but Cole kicked out of the pin attempt!
“That shows me a lot! Cole kicked out!” said Schiavone.
Cole countered a Takeshita Line with a thrust kick, followed by a Panama Sunrise. Cole went to lower the boom, but Takeshita rolled out of the ring. Takeshita put the Dynamite Diamond Ring onto his finger, which he found under the ring. Takeshita decked Cole with it, unbeknownst to the referee, and pinned Cole!
“It’ll be Roderick Strong against MJF at Full Gear,” said Tony Schiavone.
MJF was shown laughing, enjoying the fact that it’ll not be a three-way match at Full Gear.
Roderick Strong sprinted to the ring and hit Takeshita, but Takeshita hit Roddy with a low blow. Takeshita put the ring back on, but Kyle O’Reilly came down to the ring with a steel chair in hand. Takeshita retreated!
Ricochet walloped Takeshita with a jumping kick and then grabbed Takeshita’s belt. Cole offered his hand to O’Reilly, but O’Reilly declined, leaving the ring instead of opting to bury the hatchet.
We heard from The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley, accompanied by MVP and Shelton Benjamin!
MVP interrupted Renee Paquette.
MVP: “Let me show you how this is done, Renee. Bobby Lashley, you are one of the most decorated champions in the history of this sport and you’ll end a man’s career in 10 days.”
Bobby: “I will hurt Swerve and make an example of him.”
MVP: “Swerve will be in action later tonight and we will be watching.”
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley seized the Superstation TBS, pulling up in a pick-up truck with The Deathriders—Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta!
Yuta and Claudio assaulted JD Drake with a steel chair. Marina forced a camera man into the ring.
Mox: “I’ve been thinking about Orange Cassidy a lot these past few days. Chuck Taylor is drinking his food through a straw because you couldn’t save him. Wheeler Yuta belongs to me because you couldn’t save him.
“Orange Cassidy, you’ve got a shot at the AEW World Championship at Full Gear, and you’re cool as a cucumber. So I’ve got to make an example out of you at Full Gear! I’m going to brutalize Orange Cassidy!
“I’m going to stomp his face into hamburger meat. His own mother won’t recognize him. Everybody will see that. Everybody will run and hide, and we will continue to do what we want because I have the AEW Championship, and we have the power!”
Orange Cassidy’s music began to play! Orange calmly walked out to the aisle. He was joined by Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero!
Orange: “I wanted to come out here and let you know that I agree with you Jon, and I believe you can do all those things that you say that you do. It’s because of what’s in your briefcase. You hold the symbol that represents AEW and everything that professional wrestling can be.
“You hold the AEW World Championship. We can fight all over this building, but it doesn’t matter. The only way you become AEW World Champion is by wrestling. And for a guy that doesn’t like wrestling, I do a lot of it and I’m pretty good at it because I beat you. Remember that? I’m going to beat you at Full Gear and I’m going to take the power back. You’re a pawn Wheeler Yuta and next week, you and I are going to wrestle. I’m going to remove the pawn that protects the king.”
Mox: “You want Wheeler Yuta next week? We’ll see if you have the guts to pull the trigger on someone you think is your friend. At Full Gear I only have one message for you and anyone else who thinks they want what I have: abandon all hope.”
As Mox and his crew were walking away, Darby Allin jumped onto them from the concourse in the crowd!
Moxley and the Deathriders left in the pick-up truck without Wheeler Yuta. Darby jumped in the back of the truck! Claudio grabbed Darby and swung Darby into the garage door!
“Claudio is destroying Darby Allin!” said Excalibur.
Wheeler Yuta jumped into the truck, and they drove away!
“This is chaos,” said Nigel.
ROH World Champion “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho was interviewed by Renee Paquette!
Renee asked if Jericho accepted Tomohiro Ishii’s challenge for Dynamite in two weeks!
Jericho: “I’ve known you since you were a young boy, Ishii, but you’ve gone on to become one of the world’s best wrestlers. It’s only apropos that in two weeks we’ll face each other on Dynamite. I do accept your challenge! I’m going to invoke the glory and the courage of the great ROH Champions of the past like Jay Briscoe and I’m going to do that by teaching a lesson you’ll never forget!”
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. vs. Penelope Ford!
Penelope tried for a quick rollup at the start of the match. Britt bashed Ford with an elbow strike. Britt nailed Penelope with a neck breaker. Penelope fired back with a double knee strike to Britt.
Britt took down Ford with a sling blade clothesline. Ford connected with a back handspring elbow. Penelope stunned Britt with a cutter for a near fall.
Britt dodged a moonsault. Britt connected with a thrust kick and then a neck breaker. Penelope dropkicked Britt in the back. Penelope applied the Muta Lock, but Britt countered with the Lock Jaw and Penelope tapped out!
“Penelope had no choice! None!” said Tony Schiavone.
“Penelope Ford did not make it easy as Dr. Britt Baker had to earn every bit of that one,” replied Excalibur.
“The Professor” Serena Deeb walked out and taunted Britt Baker!
Renee Paquette interviewed Mina Shirakawa backstage!
Mina said she was excited for Mariah’s match on Collision. Harley Cameron interrupted and challenged Mina to a match on Collision.
“I’ll see you Saturday!” said Mina.
Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) vs. Lio Rush!
Lio and Swerve went tit for tat at the start, matching one another step for step. Then Lio gouged Swerve’s eyes. Lio knocked Swerve off the top turnbuckles, taking Swerve out of play.
Swerve regained momentum with a vertical suplex. Lio jumped off the steel steps and drilled Swerve with a reverse hurracanrana. Lio followed up with a tope suicida!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Rush rocked Swerve with a frog splash for a near fall. Swerve blocked a stunner attempt. Lio rolled up Swerve and grabbed the ropes, looking to take a short cut, but the ref spotted it thanks to Prince Nana.
Swerve blocked a rana and planted Lio with Big Pressure, picking up the big win!
Swerve: “Seems like everybody gets the bright idea that now that I’m back they want to come for the baddest man in AEW and the former World champion. Lio Rush tried, and he just failed. A couple weeks ago Shelton Benjamin tried to make a name off my name, and he lost too.
“Bobby Lashley, one week from Saturday, we’ve got Full Gear, but I feel like we need to fight tonight. So Bobby Lashley, bring your ass out here right now!”
MVP walked out with Bobby Lashley!
MVP: “Swerve, if you want a fight with a member of the Hurt Syndicate, all you have to do is ask and I’ll set it up for you. The reason we recruited you is because you’ve got so much unrealized potential.
“But Bobby Lashley is ready to fight right now so we don’t have to wait two weeks but there’s a lesson for you to learn. One of those lessons is there is strength in numbers. You’re going to learn tonight!”
Shelton Benjamin blindsided Swerve from behind! Bobby Lashley then grabbed Swerve and manhandled him! Shelton DDT’ed Swerve. MVP held back Prince Nana and made him watch the assault on Swerve! Lashley locked in a full nelson on Swerve while MVP choked out Prince Nana with his cane. Lashley threw Prince Nana out of the ring!
Renee Paquette interviewed Jamie Hayter backstage!
Hayter: “I’m going to continue to do what I said I’m going to do. I came back to right some wrongs. For the right now, I’m thinking I’m coming after one thing.”
The lights went out and Julia Hart appeared, waking up from a dream. She picked up a ringing telephone. Brody King’s voice was heard telling Julia to come home. Another voice whispered to Julia that it was time to wake up.
Full Gear 4-Way Contenders Series Match!
FTR—Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood
vs.
Kings of the Black Throne—Brody King & Malakai Black!
AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party—Zay and Quen—came out to watch the main event from behind a velvet rope!
Brody took Dax off his feet with thunderous chops. Cash tagged in but Brody back body dropped Cash! Malakai used an arm drag but Cash decked him.
Malakai wiped out FTR with a moonsault! Brody entered the fray and continued to punish FTR. Brody splashed both members of FTR in the corner, sandwiching them before bashing them with a running cannonball senton!
FTR regained momentum with a lariat-power bomb combo. But Brody spiked Dax with a Gonzo Bomb!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Cash hammered Brody with strikes and took Brody down with a drop toe hold. FTR went for the power and glory combo, but Brody raised his knees to counter. Malakai followed up with a foot stomp on Dax. FTR blocked the Dante’s Inferno and countered with the Shatter Machine! Malakai pulled Dax out of the ring, breaking up the pin attempt.
FTR drilled Malakai with a spiked piledriver on the apron, but Brody leveled Dax with a lariat for a near fall! Brody put Dax in a sleeper and Kings of the Black Throne won via ref stoppage!
Kings of the Black Throne are moving on to Full Gear on Saturday, November 23, to join the four-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship! After the match, both teams showed mutual respect, shaking hands with each other.
