Wednesday night on DYNAMITE, we kicked things off with a huge 8-Man tag, followed it up with that violent Texas Tornado Match between LFI and BCC, and then Mark Briscoe scored another huge singles win over an old ROH rival in Josh Woods.
Unfortunately it had to be followed by AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman opening his mouth, and assaulting Christopher Daniels, but at least Danielson was there to chase the cowardly champion off. Christian Cage returned to the AEW stage to assault Jack Perry, we learned The Gunns would defend their newly-won championship at REVOLUTION 2023 in a Four Way that includes The Acclaimed, and Ruby Soho capitalized on the moment to pin Dr. Britt Baker in the DYNAMITE main event!
This Friday on RAMPAGE, at a special start time of 7pm ET/6pm CT, All Elite Wrestling brings the best wrestling in the world to TNT, featuring TBS Champion Jade Cargill in action, Ricky Starks continuing his war with The Jericho Appreciation Society, and Dustin Rhodes defending his family name against the arrogant Swerve Strickland!

AEW WORLD TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH...
The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, & Nick Jackson)(c) vs.
AR Fox & Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin)
Second chances don't always come around, especially not when it comes to championship opportunities in All Elite Wrestling, but this Friday night on RAMPAGE: SLAM DUNK, AR Fox and Top Flight will get just that when they enter into the ring with The Elite once more to challenge for the AEW World Trios Championship!
The last time around AR Fox and the Martin Brothers came so close to dethroning Kenny Omega and the brothers Jackson, and bringing an end to The Elite's second reign as champions in just their second defense. Unfortunately for that high-flying trio, championship status would not be their fate on that Wednesday night in El Paso, but this Friday evening in Laredo, it just may be!
Each trio has tested the mettle of the other, they have an idea of what to expect, but The Elite has that massive experience advantage as a unit, and that will always weigh the match-up heavily in their favor. Still, the skill AR Fox and Top Flight possess on their own, and how well they have gelled as a trio, that has created quite an impressive unit for the Trios division.
It would no doubt be an upset if AR Fox, Dante, and Darius could dethrone Kenny, Matt, and Nick, but they have all the skills to put a victory together and become the new AEW World Trios Champions! But if The Elite come out with titles intact, one has to wonder who will be next to step up to challenge them?
ONE-ON-ONE...
“The Natural” Dustin Rhodes vs. Swerve Strickland
TBS CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN CHALLENGE...
Jade Cargill(c) vs. Vertvixen
At this point in her AEW career, the question is not when Jade Cargill will finally taste defeat but rather IF she ever will. After winning 52 consecutive matches against 34 different wrestlers, it's getting harder and harder to believe there is a woman out there who can dethrone the TBS Champion and hand Jade that first blemish on her AEW record.
Vertvixen has tried before, in San Antonio just prior to Christmas last year, and obviously came up short in that bout, but now she will have a second chance on this Friday's edition of RAMPAGE. At this point, every opponent Jade faces has the potential to score the biggest victory of their career, and being able to lay claim to the moniker “Streak Breaker”; will it be Vertvixen who finally finds the flaws in Jade's armor and shatters this streak?
ABSOLUTELY ENRAGED....
“Absolute” Ricky Starks vs. “Red Death” Daniel Garcia
The issues between Ricky Starks and The Jericho Appreciation Society reached a new low last week when Chris Jericho hid himself in plain sight to help Daniel Garcia win the Garcia-Guevara Gauntlet over Starks. It was the latest indignity foisted upon “Absolute” after his victory over Chris Jericho several weeks ago, but it has only further served to further Ricky's desire to fight rather than dissuade him.
So this Friday night on RAMPAGE, with Chris Jericho sitting at the commentary table, Ricky Starks will have an opportunity to redeem his tainted loss to Garcia from last week's Gauntlet match when the two men go one-on-one for the first time! We know Starks is hellbent on getting Jericho back in the ring with him again, and he will go through everyone in the J.A.S to get there if he has to!
Friday night RAMPAGE comes your way at a special start time of 7pm ET/6pm CT, and features three bouts with the best professional wrestlers on the planet. The TBS Champion looks to continue her unbeaten streak with an opponent aiming for some revenge from a prior loss; Daniel Garcia wants to continue The J.A.S' (tainted) success against Ricky Starks, Dustin Rhodes is gunning for Swerve Strickland after last week's attack on “The Natural”, and the AEW World Trios Championship will be at stake!
